It's no surprise to most that Alyse had the biggest pile...it dwarfed Brandon's stack by a "I'm the first grandchild and now I trump you!" mile!!!
We felt very loved as we opened gifts and skyped with family. Here in Bmore by ourselves we still celebrated merrily. Lisi slept through all of Christmas morning...
But by the afternoon she was wide awake and such a little darling.
Of course it was hard to be apart from loved ones, so we got together with friends here in Bmore and had a lot of fun.
Alyse even went to Church and wore her Christmas dress...
And daddy took the whole week off, which of all the presents was the best!
We went on several outings-- Lisi's first times out in the world. Our shopping trip to the outlets tired out her and daddy, she has lots to learn to be a girl :
)
Of course she also slept through New Year's Eve, that isn't a surprise. Truth be told we all wished we could snuggle up with Lisi and close our eyes.
So the holidays of 2010 were spent in Bmore with our family of three. Time off from work, Italian Christmas Eve dinner, and the acting out of the Nativity. Shopping and relaxing and hanging out with friends, we were sad to see it come to an end. Alyse will get to spend her share of time with family, when we travel in February to Salt Lake City. Until then she'll sleep and eat and grow and play, we hope you all had a happy holiday!
