After hanging out with the Harrises (Lish, Whit, Yale, and my dad) in St. George, we headed back to SLC for about a week. The visit was SO much better than our first week in SLC because Alyse wasn't sick and she felt very comfortable exploring and interacting with Grandma Karen and Papa Scott. She is often skiddish and pretty clingy when we go somewhere new and especially when there are lots of people around that she doesn't know (or can't remember having met before). So, when we got back to my moma and Scott's house and Alyse was happily crawling around the island in the kitchen and up the stairs and down the hall, well, I just felt very proud of my brave little girl :)
She's kind of got her grandparents wrapped around her little finger...or chubby leg...or round belly that she likes to show off...they are definitely wrapped around her!

It's been so great to have such a long time to visit because I don't feel like I have squeeze in family time, friend time, and any Utah activities that we want to do. We have lots of time for everything! We did really, really, really miss Brandon while we were apart and I was SO excited to see him when we headed to Cali on Dec 16th.
