I thought I would let the pictures speak for themselves in this blog post and not write that much. I want everyone to be able to experience spring on the east coast, so here are a few gorgeous pics of the flowers near our apartment:
Here's a close up of that last one...these magnolia trees are Brandon's favorites.
This one is of the cherry blossoms in DC. We went down there Saturday morning before General Conference and it was wall to wall blossoms and people. Brandon took this pic as we were driving by on our way back to Baltimore.
This last pic is very dull when compared with the vibrant colors of the other ones, but it is probably most dear to our hearts :) If you couldn't already tell by the background of our blog, we have fallen in love with the tree outside our bay window...and this, friends, is a picture of the buds that are now all over its branches! BUT, the problem is, we don't know what kind of tree it is and, so, we are left in suspense about whether it will blossom or just leaf (not sure how to say that!). Can anyone help us out? A prize will go to the one who can identify our tree and let us know if we should keep hoping for some flowers, or prepare ourselves for straight leaves.
gorgeous pics!
ReplyDeleteSoo beautiful! Thanks for charing the photos. Spring looks lovely there!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Wow- the colors their are really vibrant. We're still in the brown, turning to color, phase. I wish I was cool enough to know what kind of tree you have. It's a fun mystery though!
