Nueve Titulo

We couldn't pick just one title since the last two weeks have been so full and diverse, so here are the top nine, in no particular order:

1) Fulfilled my mom's request and headed West (aka My Mom and Step-dad hosted (and spoiled) us in their Utah home)

2) Row, Row, Row, Your Boat is a deep song (aka Trip for Sean's (Brandon's little bro's) BYU Graduation)

3) What does a Moose need that dangly thing under his neck for anyway? (aka Camping up Little Cottonwood Canyon, seeing Moose, eating lots of hot dogs and s'mores, and hiking up Little Matterhorn Mountain (which is not little) and dragging ourselves up rock covered terrain mile after mile after mile before reaching 11,000 feet)

4) Woodlands, Goodfellows, and Woodlands (aka "Sleepover" with two (out of our three) parental units all under one roof for 3 days)

5) Jana and her lover, Rachel and her cute kids, wizwalker and her new Utah life, recently returned from Barbados Brie, crazy traveling and working Ian, Aruba Zaruba (unbeknownst to her, Brandon has dubbed this as her nickname) (aka Catching up with lots of old friends from high school and BYU days)

6) Say good-bye to the no desserts during the week rule...just for vacation (aka Eating LOTS of really yummy food bought and prepared for by the parental units)

7) Wasn't this supposed to end at the wedding reception? (aka Meeting more and more lovely family on the Goodfellow and Cluff sides)

8) Jewish American Princess (please note that half my family is of Jewish decent-- so I'm just making fun of "my own" here-- and this is an actual term used to describe spoiled Jewish girls) (aka The tradition of my mom taking me shopping continued, and I am SO grateful because we arrived back in Bmore looking better than when we left!)

9) Surrounded by whiteness and all things Utah (high elevation, dry, desert heat, crazy rainstorms, lots of fake blondes, etc.) No need to explain this any further for those of you who have been there :)

It was a REALLY wonderful trip and we left feeling so grateful that we have family (and friends who we consider family) whom we truly enjoy visiting!

  2. Mags- It was soooooo good to be around you again! You have such a positive aura, it wears off on me. It also helped me feel like a "girlfriend" again... not so mom-ish! Love you! Good luck starting your new job with this school year!
