Y-M-C-A

If you didn't already, please re-read the title of this post by singing that good old song, most often played at LDS Youth dances. And, if for some strange reason you can't recall this beloved tune, or if you just want a good laugh, click this link (YMCA).

I'm not sure that I made this public knowledge previously, but when Brandon and I first moved to Bmore I did some gym hopping. This is honestly the first time in my life I took advantage of the free weeks/days gyms entice unsuspecting people they are trying to woo as their members. On the one hand, I was not proud of bouncing from gym to gym, giving fake email addresses or fake phone numbers so the membership reps couldn't track me down...but, on the otherhand, it was a great way to get a feel for the gym's features and culture. I went to Lynn Brick Bodies, Bally's, a new privately owned gym, Merit Athletic Club, one other I can't even remember right now, and the Y.

After careful consideration, making use of the Spring, Summer, and Fall weather for exercising outside, and using our gyms at our respective work places, Brandon and I became members of our local Y last weekend. The biggest draws are that there is a pool for Brandon to swim laps in (his knee still bothers him enough that too much high impact activity is not good) and some classes both of us were interested in. Plus, it was a great price for a "family membership" and we are not locked into a year contract or anything.
We're going to go to the spin class together on Mondays and Brandon is going to swim every Saturday morning, and I am going to go to another work out class or two during the week. We're excited! Soon, we're going to blow you all away with our buffness!

Stay tuned...

I also like your new music mix: it's my background mix for working in my office!
    Love you both,
