Playing Catch-Up

We were so excited to share our news with all of you, that we have neglected to blog about our past couple of weeks. SO, bear with us while we play a little catch up and share some pics of our some of the "adventures" we've been on.

Several weeks ago: The Banff Mountain Film Festival
We went hiking in the Catoctin "Mountains" (mountain in quotes because, let's face it, the mountains out here do not compare at all to mountains in the west and our hikes are more like nature walks-- hence my pic of feigning exhaustion), ate at a famous BBQ place called "Chubby's", and watched the Banff Mountain Film Festival. It was awesome and Brandon dreamed about being a free solo climber for nights afterwards! Click on the link above to watch a brief video of some of the films we saw.





One week ago: Touring with Sean in PA














The brothers got to bond while we did some random touring in PA at the QVC studio and hit some golf balls at a driving range. There were 30-40mph winds that afternoon, so needless to say golfing was an adventure- although I think my swing still looks pretty good :)



On our way to eat some ice cream, a tree fell down in the road from all the heavy winds. We were just a few cars back! People got out of their cars, coordinated some pulling, and eventually got the tree moved enough to the side that cars could go by. Brandon and Sean-- of course-- were part of the relief effort!

Our goal, over the next several months while Sean is still in Philly, is to take advantage of having family so close by and hang out A LOT. So, watch out, Sean, the graduation "song" we wrote for you might come true and you'll start to say: Go back to Bmore!
