Alyse's 1st Week

Warning: This blog post, and most likely many others to follow, will be consumed by Alyse. I am not necessarily apologizing for that (well, maybe a little, because I know what it's like when friends become obsessed with their babies and stop talking/writing about other things!) but rather just warning you in advance...we still have other things going on in our lives (well, sort of!), but Alyse is by far the most picture and blogworthy of all! Also, this blog serves as our family journal, so I feel obligated to document in a photo journal sort of way. SO, prepare yourself for lots of pictures of our daughter in her first week of life...

  6. She is SO cute Mags! I love the picture of her in her carseat. So sweet! Don't apologize for pictures of her- I HOPE that's normal because it's sure what I plan on doing :) I DID get your text the other night but I was thankfully sleeping at 3am while you were awake. How are you even awake enough to text?! I don't even remember half the times he wakes up during the night. You're amazing to be that coherent :) Hope all is going well! Love you!

  8. I love the how in the first picture it looks like she is trying to nurse on your neck. It's so funny to me that newborns have the natural instinct to automatically think it is time to eat when they come in contact with skin.

Hope you are enjoying motherhood, I just know you're doing a great job! Can't wait to watch her grow via your blog, keep up the updates!
