Part 6: Dead Man's Canyon and SG2
So this week Brandon and I went our separate ways which was strange since we had been together since he stopped working July 1st! He went on a 50 mile hike with his dad and the local boyscouts in the Sierras and Alyse and I headed back to St. George for round 2. While we got to go on long runs through the red rocks, spend time with the Harrises and Goodfellows (my mom and Scott drove down to SG for a few days), swim in the baby pool, and eat lots of yummy food, Brandon was swatting mosquitoes, hiking up and down mountains with his 38lb pack, and switching off between his two pairs of socks and undies :) He actually had a great time bonding with his dad and seeing the breathtaking views, and it didn't take too long for all of his 100s of mosquito bites to heal!

Too cute! Was it in Brandon's plan to be that gross and only pack two pairs of socks and undies? I can see the weight of many pairs being the downside, but having clean things against your skin...priceless!
