The Big Move

I was recently inspired by my sis-in-law, Whitney, to catch up on my blog. I'm going to try to do abbreviated posts covering a few months at a time. AND THEN I'M MOVING ON and not playing catch up anymore :) June- Our last post was about Brandon graduating and the last things we did in Chicago. Then, we moved, or I should say, we got moved. After getting so spoiled and having Brandon's company help us move our stuff, ourselves, and our car, to Cali, it will be hard to ever move ourselves, by ourselves, again :) And we for sure took advantage of not having to haul our own stuff across the country...we stopped in Utah on our way to Cali and had a mini vacation! My mom and Scott are always such gracious hosts and my brother's family even drove up to meet Grace (she was 9 weeks old when we moved!). We even got to see "Uncle Sean" and go on a family hike. We got family pictures taken by my talented and sweet friend, Rachel.

July- Celebrated July 4th with the Woodlands in Cali, enjoyed hanging out with them before Brandon started work and even got to hang out with Shari and baby Glenn. We blessed Grace in church and were surrounded by family. When it was time for us to officially move into our place the Woodlands even sent us with food to start filling up our fridge and babysat Alyse while we got settled in on our first night in our new place since that was before our stuff got delivered) moved into our new townhome in Livermore, and my mom and Scott drove out to help us unpack, babysit, unpack, babysit, etc. They were amazing.
