Bmore Baby Shower

A few weeks ago, just as the leaves were starting to change color, two of my friends in BMORE-- Sandra and Emily-- hosted a Baby Shower for me at the Cylburn Arboretum. It was gorgeous! They had two picnic tables decorated with colorful blues and greens, little notecards with facts about Brandon and I and our new addition, and yummy apples and chips with homemade dips, and homemade cinnamon and orange rolls. It really was a wonderful time to celebrate with co-workers, old, and new friends from my different phases of life here on the east coast (one of my DC friends came up, my BFF from grad school was there, and lots of amazing women I have met through our ward here in Bmore). It made me feel so special to have people take time out of their precious Saturdays to come celebrate our transition to parenthood and our baby to be!

  1. Maggie - congrats! You look so cute in this picture. I saw Kaylynn and Mandi a few weeks ago and tried to get in touch with you but couldn't. Anyway, I am so excited for you! Good luck! Love you, Erin Bradley

  2. I'm so sad that I can't be there for all the festivities! As soon as baby girl woodland is born you need to post TONS and TONS of pictures!!

  4. I wish I could have been there for this shower too. It is so great to know you are surrounded by so many wonderful people, even tho so far from family (maybe not ALL of us are so wonderful ALL of the time too?!?). Be sure to get the roll recipe, and we can make it when I'm there for BG's first week at home :-)
    Love you F-O-R-E-V-E-R,

  5. How fun- I'm saying ditto to your mom's comment that I'm glad you're surrounded by so many wonderful people! I wish I could have been there! I'm glad to see that you're popping out! It KIND OF makes me feel a LITTLE better, but I'm at the freak-of-nature stage, so it's not too much consolation :) I can't WAIT to see pictures- any day now! (Don't you love it when people say that?)
